Welcome to BotNow Recorder. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the app. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read carefully.
1. What BotNow Recorder is
BotNow Recorder is an audio recording app (voice memos) that lets you record, organize into folders, listen to, and share your recordings. Recordings are stored locally on your device.
2. Use of the app
- The app is intended for people aged 13 and over.
- You are solely responsible for the content you record and how you use it.
- You agree to record only content you have the right to record, respecting the privacy and rights of others and applicable law (including rules on recording conversations).
Important: laws on recording conversations vary. Before recording other people, make sure you have the necessary right or consent. Using the app for unlawful purposes is entirely your responsibility.
3. Your recordings stay on your device
Recordings are yours and are stored exclusively on your device. The app does not send your audio to our servers or to the cloud, and we have no access to it and do not listen to it. We also claim no ownership over your content.
Because files stay only on the device, safekeeping and backups are your responsibility — we cannot recover lost, deleted, or corrupted recordings. Audio only leaves the device if you share or export it yourself.
In short: nothing you record is sent to us. Everything stays on your device, under your control.
4. Ads and Premium subscription
- The free version is supported by ads shown through Google AdMob.
- You may subscribe to Premium to remove ads, at the prices shown in the app.
- Subscriptions are processed and charged by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) and renew automatically until canceled.
- Cancellation and refunds follow the rules of the store where the subscription was made and must be managed in your store account settings.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for illegal purposes, not to attempt to bypass security mechanisms, and not to interfere with the operation of the service or the ads.
6. Intellectual property
The name, brand, design, and software of BotNow Recorder are protected and belong to its operator. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit these elements without authorization.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the app working well, but it is provided "as is". We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, nor for the loss of recordings stored on your device. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
9. Privacy
Data handling follows our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil are elected, without prejudice to a consumer's right to bring proceedings in their own domicile.
